Those recent days I've been doing some tests with Lazarus (for who does not know is a multiplatform IDE for Free Pascal developing), and to be honest I did not expect it to work so as well as it did!.
Tests have been encouraging, it all works perfectly under windows, and also allows me to change the running platform (Linux, Mac, Win32 and Win64, etc) without further changes in the source code.
This part is where I focused my interest to investigate, and after a few changes here you have some pictures of DSP running Linux (both Fedora 11 and Ubuntu 9.04).
There are many things that need to be polished, implement sound with the SDL library and integrate the window into DSP, I'm thrilled with the results. Now DSP is compiled under Delphi as usual and is 60% ported to Lazarus + Free Pascal.
